Betty Turner, 84, passed away Oct. 25, 2023.
Betty was born March 3, 1939 to Jessie and Mamie Pritchett. She worked at RCA Manufacturing, enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends.
Betty was survived by her son Vernon (Trina) Turner; daughter Joyce Turner-Dunn; grandchildren DeAndre (Shelby) Turner, Nigel (Trinity) Turner, Michaela Turner, Kamarion Allport, Megan Whitlow, Grayson (Chevice) Dunn, Adrian Dunn; brothers Robert Pritchett, Harold Pritchett, Johnnie Pritchett and a host of family and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents Jessie Pritchett, Mamie Pritchett; daughter Carolyn Love; son Sylvester Turner; brothers Oscar Pritchett, JD Pritchett, Eddie Pritchett; sisters Gladys Brinson, Lily Wilson and Mamie Hardy.
Funeral service will be noon Saturday at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1540 W. 16th St., with visitation 2 hours prior to service.
