In Loving Memory of Rosetta Bradley

Rosetta Bradley died on June 1, 2021 in O’Fallon, OH. 

Rosetta was born in Troy, AL.  to  J.C.  and  Lee Etter Cottrell.   She was a member of Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro,  MD, enjoyed Bible Study,  reading, traveling and being with family and friends. 

Rosetta is survived by Sons  Aric Bradley, Richard Bradley; Daughters  Mekia Brasley, Twana Bradley;  Brothers Freddie Cottrell, Willie Cottrell; 4 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rosetta was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Bradley;  mother, Lee Etter Cottrell, and father, J.C. Cottrell.  

 Service will be held noon Saturday at Glazebrooks Funeral Services,  2822  Nichol Ave., with burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation from 10am to noon prior to service.

In Loving Memory of Belinda L. Taylor

Belinda L. Taylor, 65, passed away April 2, 2021 in Anderson, IN at Community Hospital.

Belinda was born May 8, 1955 to Jim R. Smith and Zelma Thomas Pinkler. She was a 1974 graduate of Anderson High School. Belinda enjoyed traveling, shopping, purses, cooking, baking cakes, and spending time with family, grandkids and friends.
Belinda leaves to cherish her memories her husband Theodore Taylor, Jr.; Mother Zelma T. Pinkler; Children Tyra Smith, Torondo Malone, Alvita Magby; Grandchildren Braxton Grinter, Myleisha Magby, Elijah Allen, and William Jacob Magby; Sisters Sherry Johnson, L’Tonia Williams, Dora English, Beonica Grant, and Donna Fuller; Brothers James A. Smith, Jim R. Smith Jr., Raymond B. Johnson, and Bishop Smith and special daughters Erika Hopson, Dani Malone and a host of family and friends.
Belinda was preceded in death by her father Jim R. Smith; Brothers Carl D. Smith and Johnny Smith and son Marquis Taylor.
Service will be at noon Friday at New Zion Baptist Church, 304 W. 11th St., with burial at Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation from 11am to noon prior to service.

In Loving Memory of Sammie Lee Booker Sr.

Sammie Lee Booker Sr., 64, passed away Mar. 20, 2021 in Anderson, IN at residence.

Sammie was born Feb. 22, 1957 to the late Tommie Lee and Mary Booker. He was a veteran of the National Guard and was employed at Imerys. Sammie enjoyed trying new things and spending time with family and friends.

Sammie leaves to cherish his memories his sons Sammie Booker Jr., Terrance Booker; Daughters Adrian Battle, Amelia (Demetreous) Hill, Deidra Booker, Dera Booker, Ratia Wells;  Sister Barbara Booker; 9 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held 4pm to 6pm Wednesday at Glazebrooks Funeral Services, 2822 Nichol Ave.

Service will be Saturday at S. M. Goodson Funeral Home, 217 Coosa St. E., Talladega, AL.  with burial at  Morning Star Cemetery

In Loving Memory of Carolyn Underwood-Seck

Carolyn Underwood-Seck, 60, passed away March 11th, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson. Carolyn was born June 10th, 1960 to Leonard P. Underwood and Twila C. (Newsom) Underwood. She was a 1978 graduate of Anderson High School and worked for UAW-GM Legal Services Plan for 27 years. Carolyn enjoyed baking, sight-seeing, volunteering and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandsons. She was a member of local United Methodist churches.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Twyla M. Wilson; grandchildren, Gregory and Greyson McMiller; sisters, Patricia A. Underwood and Denise K. Shockency; niece, Keisha D. Underwood; nephew, Darick K. Underwood and his children, Dayton and Alexiana Underwood; nephew, William P. Underwood and his son Kamarius Underwood; along with a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard P. Underwood and Twila C. (Newsom) Underwood; sister, Barbara J. Underwood; nephew, Leonard A. Underwood and many other loved ones.
Memorial service will be held noon Friday at Glazebrooks Funeral Service, 2822 Nichol Ave.

In Loving Memory of Nicole Tracy Allen-Loyd

Nicole Tracy Allen-Loyd -51 passed away unexpectedly at St. Vincent hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Nicole was born July 22, 1969 to the late George Allen Sr. and Luejenia Allen. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, and hosting gatherings for family and friends.

Nicole leaves to cherish her memory her husband Henry Loyd; Son Devin (Darlene) Benford; daughter Samia Deon’na-Nicole Carter; Brothers Vernon Jones, George Allen Jr., Pastor Travis (Sheriene) Allen, Clifton Allen, Kevin Allen, Andrez Allen; Sisters Thelma (Earl) Isom, Rosie (Eddie Dean) Davis, Michele (James) Redding, Catina Allen, April Allen; Grandchildren Gemiya Benford, Zaytrion Benford, Da’Niya, Benford, Devynn Benford, Scottie Ray Benford; Special niece Tekila Griffin, and a host of family and friends.

Nicole was preceded in death by her parents George Allen Sr. and Luejenia Allen; Brother Tracy Allen; Sister Latina Clay-Jones; Niece Justice Sharell Stephens and grandson Devin Benford Jr.
