In Loving Memory of Lottie Mae (Purnell) Johnson

Lottie Mae (Purnell) Johnson, 91, passed away Feb. 1, 2021 at Community Hospital.                                

Lottie was born Mar. 27, 1929 to the late Nancy (Lofton) Purnell and Elisha Purnell Sr. in Money, Mississippi .  She enjoyed bingo, gardening, walking, making sweet potato pies, and just spending time with family.

Lottie was preceded in death by her Husband Tevell Johnson Sr.;  Son Charles Johnson; Daughters  and Son-in-law Dorothy Mae and John Watson; Grandsons Monte Erby,  Donte Turner; Brothers Curtis (Betty) Purnell, Elisha Jr (Esther) Purnell, Willie Purnell, James Purnell;  Sister Patsy (Paul) Peebies, Everlena Love, Easter Purnell, and Special Cousin Annie Williams.

Visitation will be 11am to noon Tuesday prior to service.
Service will be Private.

In Loving Memory of Jerry Collier

Jerry Collier, 76, passed away Jan. 29, 2021 at residence after an extended illness.
Jerry was born Feb. 13, 1944 to Perry and Lois Collier in Troy, AL.  He was a graduate of Anderson High School, Ball State University, US Army / Air Force veteran and Retired from Roudebush VA Medical Center. Jerry enjoyed lawn care and spending time with family and friends.
Jerry is survived by his wife Leatha Collier; Sons Jerald Collier, Brian Keith (Marjorie) Collier; Daughters Kemberly (Richard) McAllister, Ivana M. Collier;  Sisters; Jessica (Japheus) Woodall, Marilynn A. Collier; Grandchildren Quentin Collier, Justin Wilkerson, Ja’Quan Collier, Brian K. Collier II, DaTwaon Collier, Tayron Collier, Tobias Collier; 8 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and son Jerry Spain Collier.
Service will be noon Saturday at Christ Temple Apostolic, 1610 W. 22nd St., with burial at Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10am to noon prior to service.

In Loving Memory of Angie Deloris Gosha

Angie Deloris Gosha, 52, passed away Jan. 18, 2021 at Hancock County Hospital.

Angie was born on Apr. 20, 1968 to Willie B. and Louberta Gosha.  She was a graduate of Madison Heights High School, enjoyed playing cards, bingo and spending time with family and friends.

Angie  leaves to cherish her memories Daughter Carlisha Hendrix; Son Rapheal Gosha;  Sisters Annie Gosha, Bobbie Gosha, Ada May Ward; Brothers Robert Gosha, Ricky Gosha, Willie Earl Gosha, Donell Gosha, James Lee Gosha, James Granger; 3 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Angie was preceded in death by her parents; Sisters Mary Gosha, Orade Wanda Gosha; Nephew Todd Gosha and sister-in-law Holly Gosha.

Service will be noon Thursday at Glazebrooks Funeral Services, 2822 Nichol Ave., with viewing from 10am to noon prior to service.

In Loving Memory of Laura May McIntush

Laura May McIntush, 94, passed away Jan. 25 2021 at residence after an extended illness.

Laura was born on Feb. 6, 1926 to Ed and Delia Wesby in Moorhead, MS.  She enjoyed church, singing and spending time with family and friends.

Laura  leaves to cherish her memories Son Johnny (Kathrine) McIntush; Daughter Linda Brewer; 11 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband Clarence McIntush; Sisters Maggie Robinson, Pearl Johnson; Brothers James Wesby and Arty Wesby.

Service will be noon Friday at Glazebrooks Funeral Services, 2822 Nichol Ave., with burial a Maplewood Cemetery.

Viewing from 10am to noon prior to service.

In Loving Memory of Dr. Anna Bond Lackey

Dr. Anna Bond Lackey, 89, passed away Jan. 10, 2021 at Honor Health Thompson Peak Medical Center in  Scottsdale, Arizona.
Anna was born Nov. 20, 1931 in South Bend, IN to Joseph Pierce and Victoria Delores Outlaw Bond. She graduated from Ball State University achieving her Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate of Education degrees with concentration in Early Childhood Education. For almost 30 years, Anna was employed as an Administrator & Educator in the Anderson Community School System and retired in 1999. She was a proud member of the Daughters of Isabella Catholic organization.
Anna leaves to cherish her memories daughter Anne (Bernard) Lackey Brummell; Grandchildren India Lackey (Montana) Green, Ian Brummell, Nia Brummell; Great Grandchildren Mason Green, Milo Brummell and a host of family and friends.
Anna was preceded in death by her Husband Dr. Robert Lackey Sr.; Son Robert Lackey Jr.;  Siblings Samantha Bond Leek, Ella Bond Miller, Hazel Bond Campbell, Esther Bond Haynes, Joseph “Buddy” Bond, Margaret Bond Akins, Ernest Bond, Donald Bond, Donnabelle Bond, Delores Bond McKissick and Austin Bond.

Service will be 10am Saturday at St. Mary’s Church, 1115 Pearl St. Anderson, IN., with visitation from 8:30am to 10am prior to service.
