Mary Helen Sleet, 90, passed away Jan. 4, 2024 in Davidson, NC.
Mary was born Oct. 27, 1933 to Richard and Nettie Alexander. She graduated from Anderson High School, retired from Guide Lamp Division in 1999 and was a member of Second Baptist Church. Mary loved sports, especially football, enjoyed traveling, doing crafts and spending time with family and friends.
Mary leaves to her memory her son Frederick (Carolyn) Sleet; daughters Cynthia Gentry,
Pamela Sleet, Ingrid JeNeane Sleet and bonus daughter Felta Carter; Grandchildren Corey Sleet, Roderick Sleet, Alexis Sleet, Joseph Gentry, Naomi Newsome, Issac Newsome, Logan Newsome, bonus grandson Josiah Mitchem and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be noon Saturday at Second Baptist Church, 230 W. 14th St., Anderson, with visitation 2 hours prior to service.

Dorlene “Little Bit” Stewart, 66, passed away Jan. 9, 2024.
Dorlene was born April 2, 1957 to Kerry and Luteen Buckley in Baton Rouge, LA.  She enjoyed planting flowers, cooking, listening to blues music and spending time with family and friends.
Dorlene is survived by her companion Ronald Taylor; daughters Kimberly Dannet Guiden; son Willie German Jr.; sisters Emma Buckley, Myrlynn Johnson; brothers Floyd Dale Buckley Sr., Kerry Buckley; 19 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Dorlene was preceded in death by her parents Kerry Buckley Sr., Luteen Buckley; sister Belinda Adams; daughter Katrina Buckley Carter and nephew Charlie Dale Jordan.
Funeral service will be noon Wednesday at Glazebrooks Funeral Service, 2822 Nichol Ave., with visitation 2 hours prior to service.

Alberta was born Sept. 8, 1942 to Nathaniel Redfield Sr. and Lealer M. Goree in Utica, MS.
Alberta is survived by her children Vida Michelle Jonas, Freeman Delaney Peoples, Lorie Hannah; siblings Mary Tanner, Ethel Rollings, Jerry Redfield, Michael Redfield; 8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Squirt was born Aug. 13, 1992 to Terrance Leroy Smoots Sr. and Alice Harrison.  He enjoyed rap, poetry, drawing and flipping.
Squirt  is survived by his wife Haley Nichole Smoots;  father Terrance (Barb) Smoots Sr., sons  Dayon Peel, Ivyavon Davis, J’Vion Smith, Legend Smith, August Smoots;  sisters  Terra Brown, Tandra Smoots, Andrea “Nicki” Williams;  brothers  Brian Raymore,  Brandon Hood;  grandmother  Ruby Foard; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Squirt was preceded in death by his mother Alice Harrison;  grandfather  Edward Harrison;  uncles  Ronnie and Shawn Harrison and brother  London Hood.
Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 3, noon at Glazebrooks Funeral Services, 2822 Nichol Ave., visitation 2 hours prior to service.
