Anthony “AD” Dawson
Anthony “AD” Dawson, 50, passed away Oct. 28, 2022.
Anthony was born Mar. 18, 1972 to Smitty Johnson and Francis Dawson. He was employed at Red Lobster, enjoyed playing spades, grilling and spending time with family and friends.
Anthony is survived by his sons Rickey Gosha, Jay-Dan Dawson; daughter Lakia Dawson; step daughter Jasmine McGhee; sisters Cheryl Dawson, Janet Sims; brothers Leslie Stone, Raymond Dawson, Tyran Walton, John Hughes, Scott Johnson, Dean Johnson; special friend Magcalido Kelley; 7 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents Francis Dawson, Smitty Johnson; brother Roger Dawson; Darrell Dawson; sister LaRonda Gully and daughter Javonna Nunn.
Service will be noon Saturday at Glazebrooks Funeral Services, 2822 Nichol Ave., with visitation 2 hours prior to service.
