Carolyn Kay Casey 71 departed this life on Oct. 28, 2023 after an extended illness.
Carolyn was born March 19, 1952. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1970 and retiree from General Motors. Carolyn was a member of the UAW 663 Anderson Indiana and UAW 977 of Marion Indiana. Carolyn was a member of the women’s and election committee of the local 663. Carolyn was baptized at an early age and attended Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed Tennis, Gardening, her grandchildren, family and spending time with her loving and devoted best friend Carol Faye.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory her son John Henry Casey IV; Sisters Vickie D. Nave, Her devoted twin sister Carol Faye Dixon, Margaret Diane Ingram; Brother Brian K. Kirksey; Grandsons, Daytrean M. Casey (Katie), Javiel Casey, Javier Casey, Jacob Rowley; Great Grand Children, Lyric Casey, Nayomi Casey, Nalaiyah Casey, Javier Jr. Casey, Kaylani Casey and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends
Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Kirksey; Brother Warren D. Kirksey; Maternal grandmother Lathaniel Kirksey, and great granddaughter Eliona Casey.
Funeral service will be noon Monday at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, 2124 Cedar St., with visitation 2 hours prior to service.
