Darrell Jermaine Porter
Darrell Jermaine Porter, 50, passed away Sept. 25, 2023.
Darrell was born May 24, 1973 to James and Mildred Kathy Porter. He attended Highland High School and was employed as a handyman. Darrell enjoyed fishing, cooking, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
Darrell is survived by his sons Perez “PJ” Porter, Darrell Porter; daughters Darreshia “Re Re” Porter, Perazha Porter, Aaliyah Porter; step-mother Alyn “Alice” Porter; sisters Waltina (Pete) Porter Gatison, La’Rie McGruder; brothers James Porter, Kevin Porter, Allison Hyatt, Arthur (Shonda) Hyatt, Duke (Lynette) Boozer; grandchildren Jaydah Bush, Bronx, Messaih, Harlem Porter; special friends Joseph Larry, Fred McCullough, Willie Wesby, Quatissa Miles, Kimlee Shaw, Geneva Porter, Rochelle Porter and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be noon Friday at 14th St. Church of Christ, 1528 W. 14th St., with visitation 2 hours prior to service.
Burial at Maplewood Cemetery.
