The life journey of Erika Starr Love began on April 5, 1980 until her unexpected transition from her earthly home on February 9, 2020.
Erika was a 1998 graduated from Anderson High School and later became a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Erika was one-of-a-kind! She will be remembered as the “life of any party”. She loved posting “memes” and eating Juju Be’s. Erika is survived by her Parents Leroy and Yvonne Johnson; Children Whitney Townsend, Hailee Townsend, Donald Townsend, Miguel Welch, Rhayne Love and Derrick Love Jr.; Grandmother Clara Baxter; Sisters Lebra Lewis of Charlotte, NC., Ashley Johnson of Anderson, IN; Brother James Streeter; Sister/cousin, Shantel Long; Grandchildren Kennedy Nunn, Bruce Brooks III, Cartier Rogers and Cailee Rogers; Special cousin Antoinette Sullis; close and dear friend Donald “D-Baby” Townsend Jr.; Special firends Christle Woodall, Ranisha Turner and a host of aunts, uncles, neices, nephews and friends.
Erika was preceded in death by her grandparents Willie Baxter, Hazel Miles and Jonas Miles.
Memorial service will be held 2pm Monday at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, 2124 Cedar St.
