Was born October 28, 1949, to R.B. Moody and Lillie Mae Moody. He served in Vietnam while he was in the Army and retired from General Motors. He enjoyed playing cards, chess, spending time with his grandkids and family. JB leaves to cherish his beloved family. Siblings; Mack (Donna Moody), Willie Moody. Children; Johnie B Moody Jr. (Idella), Leon Moody, Johnetta Moody, Lachele Moody (Kerrie Buckley) Ex Wife; Loretta Moody Johnson, Special Lady friend; Dianna Rollins, Good Friend and Sister Darlene Stewart. Special Daughter; Vonka Boulware. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren
He was proceeded in death by his Father R.B. Moody, Mother Lillie Mae Moody, Brother Willie Moody Sr., Daughter Felicia Moody and Grandson Quayshawn Jordan.
Funeral service will be noon Saturday at Glazebrooks Funeral Service, 2822 Nichol Ave, with visitation 2 hours prior to service.
