Katoria was born Feb. 23, 1982 in Montgomery, AL. to Brenda McGhee and Charles Owens. Our beloved Katoria had a heart of gold and would do anything to help you if she could. Katoria children Nylah, Jasohn, and Jaycee Keel were and always will be the love of her life. She loved her children with all heart and soul. She enjoyed shopping, fashion, hair, jewelry, music, getting her nails done and spending time with her children, family, friends and her Brentwood crew.
Katoria is survived by her mother Brenda (Ivan Hyatt) McGhee; Charles (Loretta) Owens; boyfriend Justin Keel; son Jasohn Keel; daughters Jaycee Keel, Nylah Keel; sisters Dee Hammones, Ellen (Joe) Vance; brothers Elliott (Laresha) Hammones, Jerry (Breonna) McGhee Jr.; aunt Barbara McGhee, Mary Dupree; uncles Larry McGhee, Will (Cynthia) Owens, Herman (Michelle) Owens, Eddie Hammones, Brant Karr, Joe Vance and a host of family and friends.
Katoria was preceded in death by her grandparents James McGhee, Addie McGhee, Lottie Owens; uncles Jerry McGhee, James McGhee Jr., Donald McGhee, Willie Owens, Carl Owens, Horace Owns; aunts Shirley McGhee, Jeanette McGhee and Bernice Bynum.
Service will be noon Friday at Glazebrooks Funeral Service, 2822 Nichol Ave., with visitation 2 hours prior to service.
