Mareesa L. McWilliams
, 46, passed away at home on March 19, 2022.
Mareesa was born on Sept. 17, 1975 to James Sutton Jr. and Felta Carter. She retired from the Madison County Community Correctional and she was a member of the Circle City Riders. Maressa enjoyed traveling, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.
Maressa is survived by her daughters Renita Goins, Demyshia Wilson; son Demecko Wilson Jr.; mother Felta Carter; grandchildren Amari Alexander, D’Amariion Goins; sister Jeanetta Sutton; brother Wuan Clark; nephew Landon C. Brown; Special Aunts Annette Wilson; special friends Ayanna Barringer, Johnica Hinson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Mareesa was preceded in death by her father James Sutton Jr.; grandparents James Sutton, Fannie Sutton, Essie S. Baxter and Edwards McWilliams.
Service will be noon Saturday at Glazebrooks Funeral Service, 2822 Nichol Ave., with visitation 2 hours prior to service.
