Robert Lee Williams lll, 69, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021
Robert Lee Williams lll, 69, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 after an extended illness. Robert was born on November 1, 1961 in Anderson, to the late Robert Lee Williams Jr and Norma Vee Williams IIles. He graduated from Madison Heights High School and initially joined the United States Army where he served 6 years. Robert retired from Wendy’s as a General Manager after over 20 years with the company. Robert enjoyed grilling, playing dominos, and spending time with family and friends.
He will be most remembered by his kind heart, generosity, and secret barbecue sauce. Robert leaves to cherish his memories, mother of 3 of his children, Angenetta “Nell” Williams, his children; Marjuan Williams, Robert Williams lV, Tyler Wilson, Justin Williams, and only daughter, Robresha Williams; 8 grandchildren, Desirae Williams, Donavan Miller, Jacquez Miller, Malik Brown, Ja’Myra Williams, Ja’Niah Williams, Justin Williams Jr, and Brayden Hood; bonus daughter, Deondra Sutton; special cousin, Rebecca Hill, and special partner, Deloris “Tink” Smoots and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Services will be held Monday at noon at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Doyle Moore. Visitation will be from 10am to noon on Monday at the church
