FaShanda Agnew, 54, passed away Feb. 21, 2023 at Community Hospital.
FaShanda was born May 21, 1968 to David Agnew and Evelyn Smiley. She was a Madison Heights High School graduate and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
FaShanda is survived by her sons William Turner, Frank Wimsatt III; daughter FaDrica Wimsatt; sisters Davida Agnew, Linda Powell, Sukuri Wills, Thea Surles, Leler Agnew, Rocquel Agnew, Nichole Gosha, Amy Gosha, Serena Sharp, Renita Shelby Wills, Carletha Wills; brother Donte Wills; grandchild Dontae Wimsatt and a host of family and friends.
FaShanda was preceded in death by her parents Evelyn Smiley, David Agnew, Albert Wills; grandmother Clara Collough; nephew Ryan Blackmon; son FaDreyl Wimsatt and brother Albert Walker.
Service will be noon Thursday at Anderson Zion Baptist Church, 2008 Rev. JT Menifee St., visitation 2 hours prior to service.

Lynda Darlene Townsend, 73, passed away Feb. 16, 2023.
Lynda was born May 13, 1949 to William and Welchia Warbington. She was a 1967 Anderson High School graduate, Anderson University graduate with a bachelors in marketing and Delco Remy retiree. Lynda enjoyed Bible Study, traveling, reading, dogs and spending time with family and friends.
Lynda is survived by her husband Harold Townsend; son Brad (Karra) Townsend; daughter Erin (Todd) Black; grandchildren Sydney Townsend, Cameron Townsend, Samara Black, Adelyn Black and a host of family and friends.
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents William Warbington and Welchia Warbington
Service will be noon Friday at Eastside Church of God, 2600 E. 5th St., Anderson, with viewing 2 hours prior to service.
Burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Sashae D. Peel

Sashae D. Peel, 29, passed away on February 14, 2023. Sashae was born on February 15, 1993, to David and Elaine (Williams) Peel. She was a 2011 Anderson High School graduate and a 2017 graduate from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Sashae enjoyed singing, dancing, playing drums, keyboard, clarinet, flute, and spending time with family and friends.

Sashae is survived by her parents, David Peel and Elaine Williams-Peel; sister Desiree Albea; brother Jesse (RaShai) Williams-Reynolds; nephew Princeton Reynolds, nieces Liberty Albea and Chandler Reynolds and a host of family and friends.

Sashae was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe Williams Sr. and Annie Williams, Willie Peel, and uncles, Virgil Calhoun, Donald Warner, Brian Calhoun, Joe Williams Jr., and Alphonso Graves.

Viewing will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Anderson Zion Baptist Church. Services will begin at 12:00pm. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Virginia A. McCroy transitioned on Feb. 6, 2023, in Columbus GA.

 

Virginia was born to the union of the late Emzie Crosby and the late Thelma L. McCroy-Jones on Sept. 29, 1966 in Gholson, MS. Virginia graduated from Madison Heights High School, class of 1986.

 

Virginia left to cherish her memory her daughter Le’Annisha Gray; sisters Margaret McCroy; Alma McCroy Davis; brothers Melvin McCroy all of Columbus GA, and Jerry Jones of Anderson IN. Also, many special cousins and friends.

 

Virginia was preceded in death by her Father Emzie Crosby; Mother Thelma L. McCroy-Jones; Brothers Arthur Lee Jones, Londy Jones Jr.; Uncles Jack McCroy, Robert McCroy, Arthur McCroy Jr., Jesse McCroy; Aunts Jean McCroy-Bohannan, Ardell McCroy-Johnson and Nephew Otto Toby Jones.

 

Service will be 4pm Saturday at Glazebrooks Funeral Service, 2822 Nichol Ave., with visitation 3pm to 4pm prior to service.

Odell Chamberlain Sr., 88, passed away Feb. 11, 2023.
Odell was born Dec. 25, 1934 to Dee and Mae Abbie Chamberlain in Shuqualak, MS. He was a Gm retiree and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Odell is survived by his sons Odell (Jenifer) Chamberlain Jr., Brian Chamberlain; daughters Beth (William) Chamberlain-Staples, Gail Chamberlain, Mary Chamberlain, Erica Chamberlain; brother Enos Chamberlain; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Odell was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Chamberlain; parents Dee Chamberlain, Mae Abbie Chamberlain; brothers Lee Dell Chamberlain, George Chamberlain, Paul Chamberlain, Curtis Chamberlain; sister Mary Alice Chamberlain and great grandson Ja’Kylan Chamberlain.
Service will be noon Monday at Anderson Zion Baptist Church, 2008 Rev. JT Menifee St., with visitation 2 hours prior to service.
Burial at Maplewood Cemetery.
