James Edward Miles Sr., 74, passed away Feb. 12, 2021 at residence after an extended illness.

James was born Dec. 26, 1946 to the late Samuel and Rosa Lee Miles. He was a 1966 graduate from Anderson High School, a veteran of the US Air Force and a Delco Remy retiree. James enjoyed playing cards, chess, the casino and going fishing.
James is survived by his sons Marvin Miles, Samuel “Beau” Miles III; Sisters Marilyn Miles, Vanesa McDade, Carolyn Miles-Broadnax, Esther Webb, Teresa Miles, Marietta (Charles) Finney; Brother Robert (Dolores) Miles; 16 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
James was preceded in death by his wife Martha Miles; Son James Miles Jr.; Grandson Samuel Miles IV; Brothers Arthur Miles and John Miles.
Service will be noon Saturday at Glazebrooks Funeral Service, 2822 Nichol Ave., with visitation from 10am to noon prior to service.

Lillie Mae Kelley was born on October 25, 1929 to Dock and Mildred Kelley in Talladega, Alabama.  She graduated from Anderson High School and retired after a long career from General Motors.
Lillie was a vibrant woman with a spitfire attitude.  We’ll always remember her smile, laughter and giving spirit.  She was a strong woman raising 2 children in Anderson, Indiana.
She is survived by her sister Irene Wilson, her son Lance Patterson, her grandchildren Trent Patterson Sr., Lance Patterson Jr., Mia Newman and Tunisia Bogar and 13 great grandchildren!  She also leaves behind countless 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her brother and sister Richard and Christine Kelley, her daughter Colette Tyce and three great grandchildren Jacob, Tae’von and Joseph Patterson.
On September 29, 2020 heaven gained another angel as Lillie Kelley Patterson went home to be with the Lord.
Her family would like to thank everyone who was able to attend her funeral, sent prayers and well wishes after her passing.
