In Loving Memory of Dwight Green
Dwight L. Greene, 78, passed away May 19, 2022.
Dwight was born July 19, 1943, to Linwood Jr. and Nora Greene in Cincinnati, OH. He was a graduate from Withrow High School in Cincinnati. He retired from General Motors Corporation after 30 years of employment. Dwight enjoyed lotteries, casinos, traveling, old westerns, NFL Football and spending time with family and friends.
Dwight is survived by his wife of 28 years Lois Armstrong Greene; two daughters Lynette Greene, Tamara (Anthony) Bell; Son Anthony Armstrong; grandchildren Dwight Greene, Jauren Greene, Anthony Bell II; great grandchildren Anthony Bell III, Emerson Bell; sister-in-law’s Joe Ann Burk, Pam (Keith) Strokes; brother-in-law’s Charles (Lou Ann) Armstrong, David (Evelyn) Armstrong, Larry (Garnetta) Armstrong; two special nephews, Darnell Greene and Rev. JP Morgan, special Uncle William “Billy” and Aunt Cleola Greene, and a special friend Amaya Armstrong. His best friends were Robert “Ralo” Armstrong(deceased) and Larry “Grady” Armstrong and of the trio, Dwight was “Uncle Phil” a host of family and friends.
Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, sister Margarett Greene and brother Paul Greene.
Service will be noon Saturday at Glazebrooks Funeral Services, 2822 Nichol Ave.. with visitation 2 hours prior to service.
Burial at Maplewood Cemetery.
